# 4.3 Runtime Interface Layer

The runtime interface layer sits above GamePad's computing power and resource layer and intelligent execution layer, and undertakes the key responsibility of connecting to decentralized finance systems: it opens up computing power resources, AI inference and agent execution capabilities to various DeFi protocols, strategy systems and automated execution modules in an integrable, orchestratable and observable manner, so that financial systems can stably call infrastructure capabilities during the operation phase, and incorporate execution status, risk indicators and resource consumption into a unified feedback loop.

The design goal of this layer is to provide DeFi systems with a standardized access path for runtime, enabling intelligent policies and automated execution to operate in an engineering-controlled manner over the long term without introducing additional system coupling and risk boundary diffusion.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://gamepad-2.gitbook.io/gamepad-docs/gamepads-white-paper/4.-system-architecture/4.3-runtime-interface-layer.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
